Middle Eastern Dance

Six week session in Middle Eastern Bellydance at Broome Community

College. New session begins February 15 - March 22, 2015.

I have retired from teaching and will be offering 6 week sessions at BCC twice

per year for fall and spring semesters, only.

Entertainment

 

"Bellygrams":

great for parties, such as birthday, retirement, wedding, or other special event, consists of a 10 minute surprise performance for the guest of honor ~ $110  *Additional fees apply outside of local area!

Please book your entertainment well enough in advance to ensure that I will be available on the date of your party.

 

Showers (& women's parties):

performance/demonstration that includes a mini belly dance lesson for the ladies ~ $200.

 

Entertainment for Restaurants, Resorts and other events:

As a rule, restaurant performances are best done in sets of about 15 minutes each, for 3 to 4 sets and spaced about 30 minutes apart. Contact Helena for prices!

 

 

 

Please be aware of our entertainment policies!

 

*All events must be co-ed or women only--- no all male or bachelor parties.

 

*Bellygrams are about 10 to 15 minutes in duration and are performed by professional folkloric dancers, with respect to the traditions of the dance. As such, the dancers are family oriented and suitable for children.

 

*We do not serve drinks, sing, or perform anything other than Oriental Dance.

 

*Prices vary depending on number of dancers and duration of performance. Payment is expected upon arrival and paid directly to our assistant in cash or M.O. You can also prepay using paypal, but this must be paid at least 3 days prior to the event, an email will be sent with paypal option. Our assistant(s) will also set up the music and secure any props that may be used during the performance.

 

*Dancers leave immediately after the performance.

 

*Smoking should be kept to a minimum as well as all pets and small children kept from getting under foot (sometimes we use swords as props...no need to elaborate.)

 

*If at any time a dancer feels uncomfortable in her surroundings, she has the right to leave immediately. (It has never happened, but it is policy.)

 

*Payments are non-refundable unless the dancer has cancelled (this has never happened, but to ensure the protection of our customers, we will issue a full refund if we have to cancel due to emergency or unforeseen circumstances.)
